CETHERA Takes First Place at IFC 2026

CETHERA wins Tier 1 / First Place at the Incheon Foreign Start-up Challenge 2026, advancing its mission to build quantum-ready hardware security infrastructure from

Incheon.

Incheon, Republic of Korea — July 13, 2026 — CETHERA announced that it was selected as a Tier 1 / First Place startup at the Incheon Foreign Start-up Challenge 2026 (IFC 2026), an international startup competition for foreign entrepreneurs hosted at Incheon Startup Park.

The recognition supports CETHERA’s work to develop Quantum Security Processing Units (QSPUs): hardware-based cybersecurity accelerators designed to protect cryptographic keys, accelerate encrypted computing, and help enterprise infrastructure prepare for the post-quantum era.

CETHERA’s first product platform, the CTHR-01 QSPU, is designed for server-side deployment through PCIe infrastructure. The technology combines hardware-based cryptographic acceleration, isolated key handling, post-quantum cryptography readiness, and integrated security telemetry through the Adeline security-solution architecture.

IFC 2026 recognition

IFC 2026 was held as part of Incheon’s 2026 Global Scale-up Campus initiative. The program is intended to help foreign entrepreneurs establish and scale their businesses within Korea’s startup ecosystem.

As a Tier 1 / First Place recipient, CETHERA joins a group of selected foreign-founded startups eligible for support designed to facilitate commercial growth and local market entry.

The program is intended to strengthen Incheon’s global startup ecosystem while attracting international founders and high-potential overseas technologies to the region.

IFC 2026 is connected to Incheon’s foreign-founder and global-scale-up support framework. The event was hosted at Incheon Startup Park and supported through the startup-development programs of Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP).

The recognition comes at an important stage for CETHERA as the company develops its technical, commercial, certification, and partnership strategy in Korea.

Building secure infrastructure in Korea

CETHERA’s QSPU architecture addresses a growing enterprise challenge: organizations need stronger encryption, secure key management, post-quantum readiness, and verifiable cybersecurity—but software-only approaches can impose latency, CPU overhead, operational complexity, and key-exposure risks.

The CTHR-01 platform is intended to support applications including:

• Encrypted database acceleration

• Secure storage and backup systems

• TLS and secure network processing

• Hardware-isolated key management

• Post-quantum cryptography evaluation and deployment

• Cloud, data-center, AI, telecom, and critical-infrastructure security

CETHERA will use the IFC 2026 recognition to advance customer PoCs, Korean commercialization, information-security certification preparation, strategic partnerships, investment engagement, and future international expansion.
